This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Was AMAZING! I had such a great time this year! Last year, I'd left for Kitacon by myself and didn't really have anyone to hang around with at the start of the weekend. And though I did have a couple of brilliant friends by the end of it, it was nice going along this year and knowing for that I would have people there for sure that I'd get along with.
I spent the weekend with the lovely Jaz, Jo and Rosie (the latter of which I'd met for the first time, and was amazing ), we took many manyyyy photos, videos, rockbanded along (well, they did, I suck at rockband so I just got the evidence on film), ate a lot of subway and other sugary snacky unhealthy things, and angered the local geese. And we cosplayed a lot. So much cosplay. My brain won't switch off from it now. (Also, I should note as a little side thing, I changed one the listed cosplays from my last journal to a character from a game called yume nikki at the last minute due to running out of space in my case, but some people actually recognised who I was! It was pretty unexpected to get recognised, because it's a fairly obscure game, but it was a really nice surprise.)
And I got to meet Ellen McClain, or the voice of GLaDOS, from Portal! It made me so happy, I actually love her, she was such a nice, funny person, took time for all of her fans.
Pictures of me in cosplay are available on my cosplayisland account, which you can find here: [link] and my tumblr account, which you can find here: [link] RELATED HOWEVER. I was thinking of uploading cosplay photos to deviantart. But I'm not sure I'd want to use this account for it, as even though it's a little inactive on the uploading side of things right now, it's mostly used for drawn art, writing and the odd bit of photography. So the question is this:
If I made a new account for cosplay and fandom related things, and make this one for more original stuff, would you be interested in following me on the new cosplay account? I'd probably still stick to this account for my main journals and the such, but I would duplicate and expand upon cosplay and convention related ones on the cosplay account for obvious reasons. I kind of want to make a new dA account anyway, so might end up completely transferring to a new one somewhere along the line for original as well, but I want to know if people are actually interested in following my cosplay endeavours on here before I make an account exclusively for it? Thoughts are appreciated!
UPDATE - I HAVE NOW MADE A NEW ACCOUNT FOR COSPLAY. YOU CAN FIND IT HERE: ~Rainbow-Flavour
Next up for me in terms of cosplay and conventions is Manchester Expo, where I'll be cosplaying Quasimodo's mother from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame (another slightly obscure one, I know) for the day, along with a Clopin and an Esmerelda. Looking forward to that as I've never been to an expo before so it'll be a new experience for me.
In more real lifey things, passed my driving theory test!, will be staying with Jo in her hometown for a few days in July, which I'm looking forward to, many many MANY exams to do within the next few week which I'm definitely not looking forward to, and still trying to work out what to do once I finish uni next year. It's a scary thought.

hehe, I wanted to use my white wig originally for a Chandelure cosplay but with limited time/funds, I had to make do with Litwick In the end, many people enjoy my creepy-formal gijinka design ^^
